Installing Inspectlet on Shopify

To Install Inspectlet on Shopify please use the following instructions:

  • Login to your Shopify Administration Dashboard by visiting store.myshopify.com where -ore” is your store’s name.
  • Under Online Store, click Themes.
  • Click Customize theme (top right).
  • Under Theme Options (top left), click edit HTML/CSS.
  • Under Layouts (at the top left), click theme.liquid to open your template file.
  • Navigate to the bottom of the file and paste the Inspectlet tracking code before the </body> tag.
  • Click Save (at the top right).

Check if it it's installed correctly

To debug whether Inspectlet is installed and functioning correctly, append ?inspectlet_diagnostics=true to your website URL to bring up the diagnostics console.
