Installing Inspectlet on Shopify

To Install Inspectlet on Shopify please use the following instructions:

  1. Login to your Shopify Administration Dashboard by visiting store.myshopify.com where “store” is your store’s name.
  2. Under Online Store, click Themes.
  3. Click Customize theme (top right).
  4. Under Theme Options (top left), click edit HTML/CSS.
  5. Under Layouts (at the top left), click theme.liquid to open your template file.
  6. Navigate to the bottom of the file and paste the Inspectlet tracking code before the </body> tag.
  7. Click Save (at the top right).

Check if it it's installed correctly

To debug whether Inspectlet is installed and functioning correctly, append ?inspectlet_diagnostics=true to your website URL to bring up the diagnostics console.
