Using Targeting

Targeting gives you granular control over which visitors are recorded. Use a whitelist or a blacklist to trigger tracking for specific pages, traffic sources, browsers, devices, etc.

Targeting is available on the Growth plan and above.

Enabling Targeting

To access targeting, go to your Dashboard and then under Actions, select Targeting.

Targeting is done with either a whitelist or a blacklist.

Whitelist: Enable tracking only when the following conditions are met.
Blacklist: Enable tracking for everyone who doesn’t meet the following conditions.

If you add multiple conditions, you can choose if any condition or all conditions need to be met to trigger a targeting decision.
